Though I never thought I would say this, I'm glad Alex, CGB, and TLG were conspicuously absent. Characters like that deserve a better forum than the angsty, muddy film I saw last night. I came home and watched Patient X just to get the bad taste out of my mouth. Guess I shouldn't complain too much, though - there are still 203 good cinematic examples of The X-Files...
There's just this small part of me that wishes it had been written/directed by someone who actually appeared to have WATCHED the show...

]]>Only the switch to this happy beach layout thing, in protest of the fact that we are practically down to counting the hours until summer and yet, no sign of summer (nor even of spring) has shown its face in these parts. So this layout represents wishful thinking.
Then of course there's that other thing I'm protesting - yes, the conspicuous absense of missing characters! Give us Krycek and CSM and TLG, we love them too.
My "no updates" notice is turning into an update, but one last thing... no, okay two. First, a lady at the theaters the other day made the mistake of telling me I could fill out the Stars of Hope star (you know, donate a dollar with your ticket, those things?) any way I wanted. I'm pleased to announce that one Agent Dana Scully donated a dollar to the Stars of Hope foundation at my local cinemas last Friday. Second thing, I saw The Happening today and saw The Trailer. YEAH!

For a moment, the counter on the official site restarted at 22 hours causing a wave of disbelief and horror to rival anything that might have been contained in the trailer itself - luckily, a few minutes past midnight and about 20 cycles through the theme music later, the link appeared.
